Karen Hrncir is the Assistant Director in charge of Project Management and Compliance for the Provost IT Office at Texas A&M University. Before joining the Provost IT Office Karen worked as part of the team responsible for implementing Ellucian Banner for Financial Aid. Karen began her career in 1989 with the State Auditor’s Office where she was an EDP Auditor and Project Manager for custom application development. Karen transferred to the Texas Legislative Council in 1996 and worked directly with the Legislative bill creation and tracking system. Karen is a certified Project Management Professional and holds a Bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University. She is currently working on a Masters of Educational Technology from Texas A&M University.
